about

The new joyful new single from The Miserable Rich - FHS – is a slice of joyful sun-blessed acoustic folk-pop with an unexpected Dixieland Jazz twist.

A live favourite and a track bound to put a smile on your face, FHS is a development of The Miserable Rich’s signature indie chamber pop sound, with violin, cello, nylon guitar and double bass joined by Love Supreme co-founder Jack Kendon’s trumpet (Flash Mob Jazz, HOWES3), Dan Cartwright’s sax and Bruce Stevens’ tuba. It’s a heartwarming mix, along with the canon lyric celebrating the joy of having the sun in your life.

FHS will be available on all streaming platforms on 12th September – as we enjoy the last moments of the summer – on Rags To Ruin Records.

It is taken from the highly anticipated forthcoming album ‘Overcome’ (due 2nd Feb 2024 – pre-order available now) – their first full album since 2011’s Miss You In The Days.
